
Patrick Christopher Casey 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 1st, 2025.
Patrick was born on November 17th, 1963 to James Peter Casey Jr. and Olga Virginia Casey at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He grew up in The Three Villages of Long Island, New York and attended Port Jefferson High School. On April 1st, 1981, at the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served four years as an Aviation Store Keeper and Flight Captain at NAS at Chase Field in Beeville, Texas.
Patrick received a letter of appreciation for his service (March ’83) a letter of commendation (October ’84) and sailor of the month (June ’84), prior to his honorable discharge and two additional years of service in the reserves.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in International Trade Management and International Trade Law. He took great pride in his career as a Global Supply Chain, Logistics, and Regulatory Compliance Expert, travelling the globe to train and interface with clients. In his retirement, Patrick dedicated himself to his faith, focusing steadfast to serve those in need. Supporting Christian ministries worldwide and helping to restore the lives of single mothers and families with children who found themselves homeless here in Lake County, Florida.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 28 years, Leslie Casey; his daughter, Taylor Kent Casey 24, his son, Sean Patrick Casey 21, and his Mother, Olga Virginia Casey.
Lovingly calling us all “The Casey Clan” as well as his Mother “Olga the Great” for her strength and wisdom; Patrick provided a wonderful life for all of us; as a fun playful father, soulmate and best friend, and sweet beautiful son.
Patrick is preceded by his Father and two brothers; Scott Edward Casey (1959-2016) and James Peter Casey III (1961-2004).
Family visitation and memorial service will be held at Beyers Funeral Home at 114 W Noble Ave Bushnell, Florida 33513 on March 10, beginning at 10 a.m. We welcome you to join the motorcade to Florida National Cemetery immediately following for the official military ceremony with honors.
