Joan June Anthony of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Friday February 21,2025 at the age of 95.
She was born on January 7, 1930 in Ripley, West Virginia where she grew up. She graduated from California State Teachers College (PA) with a masters degree.
Joan worked as an educator specializing in reading disabilities.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, John R. Stockman; Son, John E. Stockman; and daughter Elaina S. Knochel.
Joan is survived by her sons, Stephen L. Stockman and Gregg A. Stockman; Brothers, William Smallwood and Robert Smallwood.
Joan spent a lifetime caring and helping others including past students, family and friends.
