It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Dayle Iris Shelton, announce her passing on Sunday, February 15, 2025.

Iris was born on September 18, 1953, in Leesburg, Florida. Iris was the beloved daughter of James (deceased) and Ida (deceased) Morgan of Leesburg, Florida. Affectionately known as “Fruity,” to most, Iris was a native and resident of Leesburg, Florida. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1971.

Iris’ began her career in earlier years at General Electric Company, she then worked at AT&T for over twenty years, and finally, she worked for FEMA until health issues prevented her from doing so. Iris’ humorous and energetic personality lit up any room she entered. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends, her creativity led her to become a certified floral designer. Iris truly knew that it was more a blessing to give than to receive, which led her to study the Bible.

Iris is survived by, devoted husband, Thurman Shelton; three children, Adrienne Hart-Bryant, Anthony Hart, and Brandon Hart. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her two grandchildren, Kayla J. Barker and Samari L.
