Gerald Leon Liedl of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at the age of 83. He was born to his parents Leon and Stephanie “Stella” on May 22, 1941 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Gerald was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Church in Eustis, Florida. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
Gerald is predeceased by his parents Leon and Stephanie Liedl, and by his sister Patricia Lucash.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife Linda Liedl; children Mark (Lisa) Liedl, Jeffrey (Lisa) Liedl; grandchildren Sandra Liedl, Thomas (Miranda) Liedl, Bridget LaPlante, Patrick LaPlante; great grandchildren Charlotte Liedl, Emilia Liedl; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday February 3, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a memorial mass to follow at 11:30 a.m., at Steverson, Hamlin, and Hilbish.
The family will have a private Graveside Service at Lakeside Memory Gardens.
