Marlene Michele Walls, 68, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on December 22, 2024.
She was born on December 18, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Charles and Margaret Smith. Mimi was best known as a Stagehand Lighting Technician & Call Stewart for IATSE Local 631 in Orlando, Florida. After retiring, she established the Greenroom at the Treasure Mart where she refurbished and sold furniture until her passing.
She is survived by her husband Gerald “Gerry” Walls, Jr. and numerous family members in Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana and Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her brother Chuck Smith, sister A. Dawn Smith, mother Margaret “Peggy” Rose Smith and father Charles “Charlie” Smith.
She was a shining light in a sea of darkness, everyone’s life she touched has been better for it.
