A man spent Christmas in jail after violating a no contact order involving a woman he referred to as his “sugar momma.”
Timothy David Rogers, 35, was arrested on Monday and was being held without bond at the Lake County Jail. In addition to defying the judge’s no contact order which had been a condition of his prior release, Rogers is also facing a fresh charge of stalking.
Rogers had been free on $5,000 bond following his arrest on Dec. 16 on a charge of battery. He had been released with the condition that he not come in contact with the woman he had been charged with attacking.
Rogers had originally been arrested in an alleged attack on the woman at the Sleep Inn in Leesburg. At the time, he referred to her as his “sugar momma.” She already had a restraining order against him at the time of that arrest.
He was also arrested in November.
