Doris Elaine Moore went home to be with the Lord and Keith (her son) on December 13,2024.
Doris was born in Lemont Furnace, PA and lived there until she married in 1954 and moved to Joppa, Maryland. In 1957 she gave birth to son Keith. Over the years in Maryland, she was a devoted mother, homemaker, Baltimore Orioles Ticket saleswoman, Owner and manager of apartment complex, charities participant and many more part time activities.
She also toured via motorhome the United States over a 15-year period. Doris moved to Clermont, Florida in 1994, She and husband William E. Moore (Bill), spent many weekends at Old Town in Kissimmee showing and entering their 1979 Ford Thunderbird classic car in all auto functions. Doris served as press agent for the weekly auto show on Saturday evenings.
Doris is survived by Sisters: Betty Jane Owings, Diana Marshall and Brother David Churby, also by friends Leila and Richard Cataloni, neighbors and many more friends from old town. She preceded in death by her Husband William E. Moore and son Keith Wayne Moore.
In lieu of flowers donations in Doris’ name can be made to the Salvation Army.
