Leesburg’s surging growth is fueled by a strong job market and lower housing costs according to a recent study based on moving consultant’s move buddha database.
The study compared data from 211,000 searches of locations that customers searched with lower home prices and job growth greater than the 2024 national average of 1.55 percent.
Leesburg ranked 16 out of 43 suburban cities ranked nationally in the study. Leesburg ranked fourth of the top ten most affordable of the job-magnet suburbs in the 2024 study. Leesburg’s 2024 move in-to-out ratio of 1.67, coupled with an average home value of $291,309 and a job growth rate of 1.6. was used for the ranking. Job growth is based on the highest percentage of annual growth from the Bureau of Labor Statistics from August 2023 to August 2024.
