A Fern Park man was arrested when an officer found a jar of THC wax in his truck during a traffic stop at Circle K.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a black 2007 pickup truck for not having working headlights while traveling north on U.S. Highway 27 around 9:30 p.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The vehicle pulled into Circle K, located at 900 S. 14th St. The driver, 32-year-old Bobby Ujene Little, was observed trying to switch seats with the passenger and in doing so caused the passenger to get out of the vehicle.
The officer approached Little who was then removed from the vehicle and detained. A check of his driver’s license revealed he had multiple suspensions. These included indefinite suspensions and cancellations from June 2018, Nov. 2021, April 2022, Sept. 2022 and July 2024, the report said.
Little stated multiple times that he was not driving and did not understand why he was being detained. He was placed in the back of a patrol vehicle at that point, the report said.
A search of the vehicle revealed a glass container with multiple dark green and brown leafy bulbs inside. A presumptive field test of the jar’s contents was positive for THC and had a prepackaged weight of 2.8 grams. A glass tube was also found with white and black burnt residue on the inside that tested positive for crack cocaine, the report said.
Contact was made with the passenger who provided a sworn written statement advising that she was not driving the vehicle at the time of the stop. The vehicle was later released to her when the stop concluded, the report said.
Little was read his rights, which he verbally and physically acknowledged that he understood as they were explained to him. He admitted he was driving the truck at the time of the stop. When asked about the glass jar that was found, he said it did not belong to him, the report said.
Little was ultimately arrested on charges of possession of THC wax, drug paraphernalia (possess or use) and driving while license suspended or revoked (habitual offender). He was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $6,000.
