A home building company with more than $6.5 billion dollars in revenue for 2024 has announced the grand opening of a single family subdivision in Leesburg.

KB Homes, which is currently ranked as the seventh largest home builder by revenue this year, has begun construction of the Silver Lakes Estates subdivision in Leesburg.The Silver Lakes Estates is located off Morningside Drive and Overton Drive on the east side of Silver Lake. 

The first phase of the development will consist of 69 single family homes along with trails and recreation areas. The subdivision has been zoned for 233 homes on 114 acres.

KB Homes states that, “These new homes are designed for the way people live today, with popular features like modern kitchens overlooking large great rooms, expansive bedroom suites with walk-in closets, and lofts. The community’s one- and two-story floor plans feature up to six bedrooms and three baths. “

Silver Lake Estates is situated in a commuter-friendly location off Silver Lake Drive and provides easy access to Highway 44 and U.S. Hwy. 441. The community is close to a variety of outdoor recreation, including Rogers Park Splash Pad, Venetian Gardens Park and Leesburg Dog Park. Residents will also enjoy several nearby lakes for boating and fishing and LSSC Sport Complex for sporting activities.

The Silver Lake Estates sales office and model homes are open for walk-in visits and private in-person tours by appointment. Homebuyers also have the flexibility to arrange a live video tour with a sales counselor.
