A Leesburg woman was arrested for battery after allegedly throwing milk at her boyfriend for texts on his phone that upset her.

Officers responded to RaceTrac, located at 622 E. Broad St., regarding a battery at around 6:50 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Groveland Police Department.
Upon arrival, the officers met with a deputy who advised that while sitting in her patrol vehicle, she saw a man covered in some sort of liquid. The deputy asked if he was ok, and he said no. His girlfriend, 30-year-old Felicia Elizabeth Lyn, threw milk at him, the report said.
The officers next contacted Lyn who stated she was sitting in a vehicle waiting for her boyfriend, the victim, to get milk for their child. While waiting, she was searching through his phone and saw a message that upset her. She questioned him about the text message when he returned to the vehicle, and this turned into a verbal argument, the report said.
Lyn then threw milk at the victim. She stated he did not strike her during this altercation, the report said.
The officers proceeded to speak with the victim, whose clothes appeared wet. When asked how he got wet, the victim advised that Lyn threw milk on him after a verbal argument. She had gone through his phone and saw text messages that upset her, leading her to throw milk at him, the report said.
The victim also stated he and Lyn were separated, and he was giving her a ride home to Leesburg. They do not live together. He and Lyn both advised they had been together in an intimate relationship for about three years and have a child together, the report said.
Lyn was determined to be the primary aggressor and arrested on charge of battery (domestic). She was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $500 bond.
