Curbside collection of trash and yard waste in Leesburg will be suspended on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Customers regularly scheduled for pick-up on Thursday will be picked up on Monday, Oct. 14. It is anticipated that normal garbage and yard waste collection schedules will resume on Friday, Oct. 11. However, if storm damage is significant, Friday service may be suspended while crews focus on debris removal.
Commercial solid waste collection service for Wednesday, Oct. 9 is cancelled due to the storm closure of the Covanta facility.
