Officers responded to the Brick and Barrel restaurant, located at 209 W. Main Street, regarding a trespass warning request around 6:48 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

While en route to the location, dispatch advised the officers that the complainant wished to have 53-year-old Dianne Kujawa, who had various items laid out in the area, trespassed from the property, the report said.

The officers arrived on scene to see a person, later identified as Kujawa, sitting in the restaurant’s outdoor dining area. She immediately stood up and began walking westbound on West Main Street. Contact was made with her near the intersection with South Third Street, the report said.

Kujawa was then identified by her name and date of birth. Upon relaying this information to the LPD Communications Center, the officers were told that she had previously trespassed from the location on Jan. 10, 2023, the report said.

The New Jersey native was subsequently arrested on charge of trespassing (fail to leave property upon order by owner). She was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
