Marlene Diane Burns, 86 originally from Knox, PA passed peacefully at Trinity Rehab in Trinity FL on June 23, 2024.
Marlene was born in Connellsville, PA to Michael Martucci Sr. and Ellen Margaret (Trump) Martucci. Moving with the family in 1960 to the Knox area. Marlene was employed at Owens Illinois Glass Plant in Clarion, PA for over 40 years. She married Robert Burns Sr. on February 14, 1978.
They enjoyed travelling in their motorhome with their beloved dog Starr, visiting many states and family along the way. She enjoyed going to sales and flea markets and making crafts. They eventually settled in Fruitland Park, FL and loved their retirement home and lifestyle.
She is survived by brothers Jim (Elouise), Robert (Linda), Roger (Patricia) and sisters Joan (Paul), Carlotta and Cathy (Steve). And by many nieces and nephews and her sweet dog Rosie. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister Charlene Mays and a brother Michael Martucci Jr.
Family and friends will be received at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, 1123 W. Main St, Leesburg, FL on Friday, June 28 at 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with funeral services following.
