Gerald L. Fouquette passed away on June 15, 2024.
Joe was born to Louis and Maggie Fouquette on April 24, 1945. He grew up in the Foley area and attended school in Foley. Joe worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for over 25 years. He belonged to the Local 49.
Joe was proceeded in death by his son Joseph and daughter Lisa, as well as his father Louis, a nephew, a sister in law and two brothers in law.
Joe is survived by his son Chad (Audrey), his wife Sandy of 57 years, his mother Maggie and 11 brothers and sisters. He had 6 grandchildren and 4 bonus grandchildren along with 6 great grandchildren and 4 bonus great grandchildren.
Joe was always the life of a party and generally the last to leave. He has left many memories.
A celebration of life will be held in August the date has not been determined.
