
Jerry L. Osteen, 51, of Altoona, Fl. passed away peacefully on June 14th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Leesburg, Fl. and grew up in Clermont, Fl. He worked as a Clermont Police Officer and as a butcher for the family meat cutting business for many years. He was prominently known for his involvement with the Lake County Fair in the livestock division, He spent years as a Livestock Barn Superintendent and was also a Director for the Lake County Fair Board. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods with family and friends (that were also family to him) that he held dear to his heart,.
Jerry is preceded in death by Grandparents: James (Mary) Osteen of Clermont Fl; Father: Roy Osteen of Clermont, Fl.
He is survived by Wife: Kimberly Osteen of Altoona, Fl.; Mother: Wanda Osteen of Clermont, Fl, Brother: Steve Osteen of Clermont, Fl. Children: John (Colby) Osteen of Mt Dora, Fl; Rosebud (Nathan) Wolan of Altoona, Fl; Stepdaughter: Riley Shaffer of Altoona, Fl; Grandchildren: Brayden, Shyloh, Savannah, Waylon, Harlow and Alivia.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held at a later date and time at the home he shared with his wife in Altoona, Fl.
