Laura Jean Kaminski, 83, of Tavares, FL, passed away on June 2, 2024. She was born in Sopchoppy, FL, on August 27, 1940, to her parents: Dalton and Pearl (Green) Payne.
Jean, as she was called, was raised in Lakeland, FL. She moved to Tavares in 1977 and became CEO of the Lake County Home Builders Association, a position she held for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Frank Kaminski; two sons: Brian (Alisa) Kaminski and David (Nevy) Kaminski; four grandchildren: Brianna, Zak, Cookie and Maria; and a sister: Nancy Adams.
