The Florida Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting next week to discuss resurfacing a 4.21-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 441 in Leesburg.
The meeting will be held at the Venetian Center (1 Dozier Circle, Leesburg) on Wednesday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m.
According to FDOT, the purpose of the project is “to resurface the pavement, to extend the service life of the existing roadway,” and to provide “additional operational and safety improvements.”
In addition to the in-person meeting, which will feature a looping presentation, project displays, and a chance to speak with team members, FDOT will also offer a chance to attend virtually through a computer or mobile device.
