Mildred Selman Winget, age 85, passed away on May 28, 2024 in Tavares, FL.
She came to Leesburg in 1947 with her family from Lupton, MI. She graduated from Leesburg High School and Tennessee Temple College. She and her deceased husband of 54 years were school teachers and retired.
She is survived by daughter, Tamara Wyngate, grandson Kai Filippucci, and Alice E. “Sally” Lewis (sister) 88 years old also of Leesburg and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, May 31, 2024, 10:30 AM at the Faith Baptist Church, 2140 Crystal Beach Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33880 with Reverend David Winget officiating.
