Teen boy reports being groped by 38-year-old Leesburg woman

A Leesburg woman was arrested for allegedly molesting a teen while he slept over at her house.

A deputy responded to an undisclosed Leesburg residence regarding a juvenile stating he was touched inappropriately by an older woman, later identified as 38-year-old Anna Elizabeth Jackson, around 1 a.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from Lake County Sheriff’s Office. 

Prior to the deputy’s arrival, law enforcement received a call from the complainant who stated that her son, the juvenile victim, called her in a “complete panic.” He told his mother that he woke up to Jackson rubbing his genitals and the inside of his thighs, the report said. 

The deputy met with the mother ho advised that she left the juvenile victim at Jackson’s house for a few days. He was panicked and only reluctantly talked to her as to why. The mother then went to the house and got the victim out, the report said. 

Another deputy interviewed the juvenile victim. The boy said he was sleeping in bed when he woke up to Jackson reaching under his clothes and touching his genital area. She then got up and left the room in what he believed was her going to use the restroom, the report said. 

Jackson then returned to the room and continued to touch him on his legs and once again in his genital area. The juvenile victim then told her to stop before getting up and leaving the room to call his mother. He further stated she only touched him with her hands but did go under his clothing and touched him skin-to-skin, the report said. 

Contact was next made with Jackson, who was asleep in the front bedroom when deputies arrived. She stated that she had four or five alcoholic drinks and did not remember anything other than getting home from work and going to bed. She advised it was normal for the juvenile victim to sleep in the bed where she was asleep, and she knew he slept there the night before, the report said. 

Jackson could not recall if anyone was in bed with her that night. She did say that she had been single for a year while she was being questioned about her normal sleeping habits. The report noted that her statement changed multiple times while being questioned about the incident. 

Jackson was subsequently arrested and charged with lewd or lascivious molestation (victim 12 years or older less than 16 years old). She was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $10,000.
