Brandon James Miller, 25, was charged with retail theft after being brought in by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office earlier this month.

On the night of Dec. 3, Miller entered Circle K, located at 23932 State Road 46 in Sorrento, and grabbed a 12-pack of Modelo beer valued at $17.89. He left the store without paying about two minutes later, according to an arrest report from LCSO.

A deputy identified Miller using security camera footage due to multiple prior law enforcement interactions. He was accompanied by an unidentified juvenile who also walked out with a 12-pack of Coronas without paying, the report said.

A warrant was signed for Miller’s arrest on Dec. 7, and he was arrested that same day at a different Circle K, located at 25615 State Road 46, on charge of retail theft. He was transported to the Lake County Jail and released after posting $500 bond.
