Police responded to the Hampton Inn, located at 9630 U.S. Hwy. 441 in Leesburg, regarding a disturbance around 12:32 p.m. Dec. 9, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Information obtained during the call indicated that the complainant, 63-year-old Nathaniel Mark Trinsey, was possibly causing the disturbance with staff members within the business, the report said.

Upon arrival, the officers met with Trinsey who was sitting in a wheelchair under the covered awning. He began uttering slurs at law enforcement while cursing. The officers spoke with a female staff member instead, the report said,

The staff member, who indicated that she was a manager, stated that Trinsey was acting in a hostile and belligerent manner toward staff members. She also advised that he stayed at the hotel for about two weeks. As a result, she requested he be trespassed, the report said.

A trespass warning was completed and issued to Trinsey. It was explained to him that he was not licensed or authorized to be on the premises, and he would be arrested if he refused to leave. Trinsey refused to leave and advised law enforcement would have to arrest him, the report said.

The Pennsylvania native was subsequently arrested on charge of trespass after warning. He was transported to the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.

Trinsey was arrested twice earlier this year, once in April for repeatedly calling 911 and then again in November for trespassing at a hotel in The Villages.
