Santa “Sandy” Giacomi of Eustis, Florida passed away on Monday December 11, 2023, at the age of 96.
She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to her parents Raffeale and Rosina Tortorici on February 10, 1927. In 1994, Sandy moved to Eustis, Florida permanently. She was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis, Florida. Her family and friends remember her as always being a mother to everyone, with a love language of giving. She was known most of all for her cooking and was an inspiration to many to learn how to cook.
Sandy is predeceased by her husband Alfio Giacomi in 1986; son Robert Giacomi in 2003; and parents Raffaele and Rosina Tortorici.
Sandy is survived by her children Thomas Giacomi, Jack (Monica) Giacomi, Cynthia (Brian) Hampy, and Linda Rose Giacomi; along with 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
