A Eustis man was arrested after throwing a broken cement block through an RV window and causing almost $2,000 in damage.

Police responded to a verbal argument in progress at an undisclosed Eustis residence around 6:57 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Prior to the officer’s arrival, the male victim advised that 27-year-old Kevin Dale Moore was trying to kill him. He stated that Moore was throwing things around and acting possessed, having broken five windows and cabinets in his RV. He also explained that Moore had been getting progressively worse mentally over the last couple weeks, the report said.
Once at the scene, the officer observed the victim and Moore in the backyard speaking with each other. The victim walked over to speak with the officer, and Moore went inside his RV and shut the door, the report said.
The victim then advised that Moore approached him that morning and asked him to get him a drink, which he refused to do. Moore began breaking windows and a mirror on the victim’s truck. At one point, Moore grabbed a piece of cement block and threw it through a window. As the block broke through, glass fell onto the victim’s arm and cut him, the report said.
While damaging the property, Moore stated that the victim “didn’t love him” and hoped that he would die. He made other statements the victim could not understand. The victim then left the camper because he did not know what else Moore was going to do. That was when law enforcement arrived on scene, the report said.
Deputies walked with the victim over to his RV and looked at the $1,800 in damage. They observed multiple broken windows with glass inside the camper. They also saw a small chunk of a concrete block inside, which was from Moore throwing it through the window, the report said.
Deputies proceeded to make contact with Moore. He walked out of the RV to speak with them but tensed up and pulled his arm away when they tried to handcuff him. He was eventually taken into custody, the report said.
Due to prior complaints, EMS was contacted and arrived on scene to medically evaluate Moore. Once he was cleared, deputies transported him to the Lake County Jail without further incident, the report said.
Moore was subsequently charged with throwing a deadly missile into occupied dwelling, criminal mischief greater than $1,000 and resisting without violence. Added charges for separate incidents raised his bond to $40,000.
