Leesburg commissioners will consider approving a high density apartment complex during Monday’s commission meeting.
During the first reading of the request by the developer, PMF Leesburg, Michigan LLC of Winter Park, it was determined that the original plan which called for 144 apartments would have to be reduced to 134 apartments to accommodate a second exit from the complex.

The apartment complex will be erected on the eight-acre parcel with entrances on to Park Holland Road and Picciola Road. The development will include one-bedroom apartments which must be at least 800 square feet, two-bedroom apartments which must be at least 1,000 square feet and three-bedroom apartments of at least 1,200 square feet. Thirty-five percent of the property will be open spaced and will include two recreational structures.
The second reading will allow public comment on the proposal prior to the commission vote.
The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. at city hall.
