Leesburg police need help identifying robber at gas station

The Leesburg police department is seeking help from the public to help identify a suspect who robbed a local gas station.

An employee of the Murphy USA store located at 1801 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. was beginning to open the store shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday, when the suspect, armed with a semi-automatic pistol, demanded cash from the safe and cash register. The station’s security cameras filmed the robbery.
