Michael Allen Higginbotham, 48, of Tavares, FL, passed away on January 22, 2023, in Clermont, FL. He was born on May 22, 1974, at Vandenberg AFB, CA, to his parents: Larry Allen and Norma Carlene (Winters) Higginbotham. Michael was a fantastic drummer and singer and could even play guitar and piano. He worked as an electrician and as a sales representative in the roofing industry. He also worked as a waiter in the restaurant industry because he enjoyed being around people.
He is survived by his sons: Staff Sergeant Cole Allen (Christina) Higginbotham, Aberdeen, NC and MA2 Kyle David Higginbotham, US Navy; sister: Sherry Ann Higginbotham-Watts; nephew: Alexander Scott Watts; and parents: Larry and Carlene Higginbotham, Tavares, FL.
A private graveside ceremony will take place at a later date at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, FL.
