Mary M. Ernst of Eustis, Florida passed away on Monday December 19, 2022, at the age of 99. Mary was born on November 15, 1923, in Yonkers, New York to her parents Joseph and Anna Minello. She moved to Homestead, Florida in the 1950’s. She was a member of the All-Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, Florida and was a member of The St. Edward Catholic Church in Tallulah, Louisiana. She was a member of the Sacred Heart and Homestead Woman’s Club and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Mary enjoyed Jumbles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and asking questions about her family and her many friends on what everyone was up to. She loved hearing what people were doing and could remember every detail of someone’s life that she interacted with.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers (Lou and Joseph Minello), and her late husband Norman Stephen Ernst who passed on March 22, 1997.
Mary is survived by her daughters Vicki (Mike) Morelli of Eustis, Florida and Valarie (Duke) Canipe of Eustis, Florida; son Norman Wainwright (Marie) Ernst of Tallulah, Louisiana; grandchildren Michael (Lisa) Morelli of Parrish, Florida, Matthew (Lisa) Morelli of Eustis, Florida, Stephenie (Lance) Marsh of Tallulah, Louisiana, Katherine Bedgood of Tallulah, Louisiana, Courtney (Billy) Nadeau of Tallulah, Louisiana, and Norman Stephen (Kaci) Ernst II of Tallulah, Louisiana, and 13 great grandchildren.
