Patty Bedgood, age 65, passed away peacefully on Monday December 5, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 28th 1957 in Eustis FL and was raised by her grandparents Wilson and Dora Hogan. Patty was a housekeeper for many years. She also worked at Eustis elementary school in the lunch room while her two boys were growing up.
Patty was a simple woman who loved hunting, fishing, cooking, sewing, talking on the phone and smoking her cigarettes. Patty loved her family and friends. Most of all she loved her dog Buddy. She made us promise if anything was to happen to her, we would make sure Buddy was taken care of. Patty, we will always hold your memory close. You will always be loved and missed. This is not a goodbye, but is a see you later.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband Rufus Bedgood, grandparents Wilson and Dora Hogan mother Mildred, Sister Rachael Jordan, and daughter-in-law Shawna Bedgood.Patty is survived by her two sons Shawn Bedgood of Umatilla FL, Steven and his wife Darlene Bedgood of Altoona Fl, Sister Wilmer and her husband Gene Castleberry of Tifton, GA. Tony Allen of Lakeland FL along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends and family.
Funeral services for Patty will be held at the Umatilla Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory Friday December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Crowley officiating. Interment will follow in Seminole Springs Cemetery, Eustis, Fl.
