Timothy Paul Wainscott, age 70, was born November 24, 1952, to Billie “Bing” G. Wainscott and Marilyn (Rice) Hill. Tim passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2022.
Tim was a 1971 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Lafayette, IN and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Industrial Management. Tim proudly served in the United States Army and was then employed for 21 1/2 years with Alcoa of Lafayette IN, followed by 19 years at Mid Florida Signs and Graphics of Leesburg, FL.
Tim is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Jenkins) Wainscott formerly of Lafayette, IN, son Kenton Lee (Shana) Wainscott of Lafayette IN, daughter Morgan Leigh (Natalie) Ridgeway of Lafayette IN, stepdaughters Tosha Renee Moyer and Brittney Nicole Moyer both of Leesburg FL, brother Geoffrey (Sheila) Wainscott of Georgia, and five grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister Candice (Wainscott) Boyer of Florida.
Tim was a devoted husband, father, and grandÂfather. He inspired his family to do their very best and to always help those less fortunate. He was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis FL. His family will remember him for his witty sense of humor, passion for coaching, and all things sports. “Boiler Up!” and “Go Cubs Go!”
Arrangements are being handled by the National Cremation Society of The Villages, FL. A celebration of life will be held at a later and yet to be determined date and location.
