In anticipation of impacts from Tropical Storm Nicole, Lake-Sumter State College will close all campus locations and cancel all classes and activities beginning at noon Wednesday, Nov. 9. The college will be closed on Thursday, Nov.10 and continue to be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11.
LSSC will reopen on Monday, Nov. 14.
Instructors will communicate with students through Lakehawk email or Canvas regarding coursework updates.
During this time there will be no access to any facilities on LSSC campuses.
