John Richard Parisian

John Richard Parisian, 82, of Mount Dora, Florida, died peacefully Friday, September 9, 2022.

Born in Lansing, Michigan, he moved in 1980 from Lima, Ohio to Central Florida, where many of his siblings lived. He was owner and operator of a garage door installation and repair business and also did fine carpentry work. John was a Catholic. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed woodworking, cooking and pie baking. Any friend or family suffering a loss or hard times were graced with something from the kitchen, often barbeque and a pie. As to travel, he enjoyed cross country driving and visited family and friends often. He also served in the U.S. Army in Thailand during the early 1960s.

John is predeceased by Daughter, Theresa Maria Parisian and by Brothers, William “Bill” Parisian, Robert “Bob” Parisian, and James Parisian; Sisters, Susan Hierholzer and Carol Hartigan. He is survived by his Wife, Barbara Ann Parisian of Mount Dora, FL; Sons, William C. Parisian of Reno, NV and Robert M (Amy) Parisian of Eustis, FL; Brothers Greg Parisian of Ohio, Victor Parisian of Houston, TX, Joseph Parisian of Sarasota, FL, and Thomas “Tom” Parisian of Finley, OH; Sisters, Rose Anne Parisian of Prato, Italy, and Catherine Parisian of Ironwood MI; Grandchildren, Lindsey Parisian, Matthew Parisian, Bynna Cox and Stephen Parisian; and by numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, FL on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery Bushnell. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lake County.
