The local chapter of the Amvets Riders motorcycle group will hold a poker run on Saturday, Aug. 20, to benefit Blake Kocielko, a 28-year-old Lake County firefighter who was diagnosed in June with a brain tumor.
The event starts with a $6 all-you-can-eat breakfast and registration from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at Amvets Post 1992 in Mount Dora and ends five stops later with food and live entertainment at Gator Harley Davidson in Leesburg.
Cost is $10 per biker ($15 with passenger).
