Sandra Elaine Becker passed away peacefully at her home in Tavares Florida on May 9, 2022.
Sandy was born in Bellevue Ohio on May 22, 1938 to George and Margaret Martin. She lived there until 1955 when she married her husband George and moved to San Diego California where they raised a family of six children. The family moved to Ohio and then to Florida where they have lived for more than 40 years to raise their families.
Sandy was a homemaker and wonderful mother to her children George III, Steven (Dottie), Kimberly (Curtis Kunihiro), David (Eileen), Carrie (Israel Ramos), and Jennifer (Alex Ramos). Her dedication to her family is exemplified in her growing family including sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Besides spending time with her family, she enjoyed Gator football, golf, gardening and playing bridge. She was an animal lover and mom to her dog Daisy.
Sandy is preceded in death by her husband George, sister Linda and granddaughter Lynne.
A graveside service will be held on May 21, 2022 at 10 am at Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Howey in the Hills, Florida.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Autism Society of Florida would be appreciated.
