Lorraine A. (Labbe) Bariteau, 86, of Leesburg, FL passed away on May 7, 2022, after several years of declining health. She was born to the late Arthur Labbe and Blanche (Cote) Labbe on November 5, 1935, in Nashua, NH. Lorraine was married to an amazing man, the late Aime J. Bariteau Jr., for 64-years until his passing on July 25, 2021. They resided in Nashua, NH until her retirement. Lorraine and Aime then moved to Leesburg, FL to enjoy their “Golden Years”.
Lorraine worked third shift for many hard-working years at Sprague Electric. When Sprague’s closed, Lorraine went on to work for Circuit Connect and then Nashua Corp. in Merrimack, NH, from which she retired.
Lorraine was a loving and caring mother and friend. Lorraine would literally give anyone the shirt off her back and always spoke her true feelings. Her love would often be shown by a tight pinch to the cheeks and a big squishy hug. Lorraine could also be heard from across the room and was always so proud to introduce her family to everyone, two and three times. Lorraine was very well known in their park.
Lorraine is survived by the following: Her first born, Debra Bariteau, her baby girl Jessica (Bariteau) Emerson and Jessica’s husband Donald. Her grandchildren; Amanda Bariteau, Vanessa (Bariteau) Draper, Vanessa’s husband Charles and Tyler Emerson. Her great-grandchildren; Natalie, Emily, Madeline, Avah and Aiden. Her sister, Rolande Suchocki. Her sisters-in-law; Lois (Bariteau) Butler, Joan Labbe, Lorette Labbe and Ellen Labbe. Her brothers-in-law: Wayne Bariteau, Gilbert Bariteau and Gilbert’s wife Kathleen, Lorraine has many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine had suffered the great loss of her son, Russell Aime Bariteau on June 15, 2021. This was a very difficult loss for all. This was just 5-weeks prior to losing her husband. Lorraine was also predeceased by her sisters; Irene Vien, Doris Gagnon, Georgette Leveille and Alice Landry. Brothers; Arthur Labbe, Armand Labbe and Lawrence Labbe.
A Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be planned for a future date.
