A Leesburg woman was arrested after allegedly punching her mother in the mouth.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the victim’s home in the 6300 block of Sunnyside Drive on Saturday afternoon after receiving a call that 44-year-old Heather Price struck a woman over 65 years of age.

Upon making contact with the woman, deputies immediately noticed injuries to the right side of her upper and lower lips, according to the arrest report. The woman told deputies that her daughter had been drinking wine all morning in her bedroom. She said her daughter started demanding that she should go get her a hamburger. When her mother told her to go to bed and that she would get her a hamburger later, Price became enraged and struck her mother. Price made a phone call and shortly thereafter left the residence with a man. When Price returned to her mother’s residence she was taken into custody.
