The Lake County Commissioners has unanimously agreed to appoint Jennifer Barker as the new manager of Lake County.
She has been acting as interim county manager since Aug. 24. Prior to her appointment she has held different positions with the county including budget director, executive director of administrative services as well as deputy county manager. Barker graduated from the University of Central Florida.
She has been employed with the county since 2013.
