Inside travel lanes and medians on U.S. Hwy. 441 northbound and southbound from Martin Luther King Jr. to Griffin Road in Leesburg will be closed beginning Monday, Feb. 28.
Work will consist of resurfacing, as well as installing curb and traffic separators within the median area, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Median and lane closures will be in effect until median work is completed.
Signage and traffic control devices will direct drivers through the remaining open lanes during these closures. Motorists are asked to exercise caution and avoid distractions while driving through the work zone.
