Door Dash orders from McDonald’s have led to a Leesburg woman’s arrest on fraud charges.

Officers had been dispatched to a residential address on Floradel Avenue in Leesburg regarding a car burglary and the theft of two credit cards and a Florida driver’s license. The victim reported three fraudulent charges on her card, two of which were Door Dash deliveries from McDonald’s.

When a Leesburg Police Department detective was able to obtain the Door Dash information it showed that deliveries were made to 1631 Sterns Drive in Leesburg in the name of “Gabby b”. The Door Dash account information showed frequent food deliveries to that address under the same user name, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The detective was aware that 18-year-old Gabrielle Jeaney Bellamy resides at that address. Bellamy has had a number of theft arrests in Lake County.

Bellamy was charged with two counts of criminal use of personal identification information, two counts of fraud-illegal use of credit card and two counts of petit theft. Bond was set at $10,000 when Bellamy was booked at the Lake County Jail.
