16-year-old arrested in murder of 28-year-old Leesburg man

A teen suspect has been arrested in the murder of a 28-year-old Leesburg man.

Tyshaun Oneal Robinson was found shot this past Friday in the 2200 block of Waitman Avenue in Leesburg. He was taken to UF Health-Leesburg Hospital and later transferred to Ocala Regional Medical Center, where he died.

The Leesburg Police Department announced on Wednesday afternoon the arrest of a suspect, 16-year-old Mileik Janon Le’Shun Rose, who was taken into custody at his residence in Ocala. The Ocala Police Department assisted in his arrest. He was booked at the Marion County Jail.

He is facing a charge of first-degree murder and other weapons charges.
