A Leesburg man was nabbed with 47 grams of marijuana tucked in his underwear.

Devon Anthony Souders, 20, was at the wheel of a white pickup truck Friday night in Eustis when he was pulled over for a non-functioning left rear tail light, according to an arrest report from the Eustis Police Department. During a traffic stop, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the truck. Souders denied having any drugs.

A search of the truck turned up a container holding marijuana.

When the officer searched Souders, the officer found 47 grams of marijuana in Souders’ underwear along with a plastic cap containing THC wax.

The officer also found a vape pen containing what appeared to be THC wax as well as two black scales in the truck.

The Indianapolis, Ind. native was booked at the Lake County Jail where he was charged with two third-degree felonies – possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (THC wax) and possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana. He was also charged with a first-degree misdemeanor of possession of drug equipment. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
