A Leesburg woman’s call to her “baby daddy” ignited a fight with her current boyfriend resulting in her arrest.

Leesburg police officers were dispatched Tuesday to a residence in the 600 block of Mills Street regarding a battery. Upon their arrival they saw 28 year-old Erianna Lynette Reed and her boyfriend in the front yard yelling at each other.

Reed said that her boyfriend started arguing with her because she had been talking to her girlfriend on her phone. The boyfriend said that when he heard her talking to her “baby daddy” the current boyfriend said “you can have her now” and began moving her items out of the residence according to the Leesburg arrest report. At that time Reed threw an 8 ounce AirWick can at the boyfriend, hitting him in the head. He tried to keep her away, according to the report, but ended up on the ground with the 90-pound five-month pregnant Reed on top of him. The boyfriend’s mother observed the fight and started to pull Reed off of her son when Reed bit him on his right calf muscle. The police officer was able to see the bite mark on the boyfriend’s right leg.

Reed was arrested on a charge of domestic battery. She was booked at the Lake County Jail with bond set at $500 which was posted the next day.
