A teen was arrested after an alleged attack on administrators at Tavares High School.
The 15-year-old student was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.
A Lake County sheriff’s deputy attempted to intervene in the altercation, but the student swore at the deputy and shoved him. The deputy pepper-sprayed the student for three seconds in his face. After the youth was medically cleared by EMS personnel, he was transported to the Lake County Jail where he was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, battery on a school official, and resisting arrest with violence.
