Ronald Paul “Ron” Davis, 84, Leesburg, Florida passed away on November 4, 2021 at U.F. Health Leesburg under the loving care of his family and hospital staff. Ron was born on August 13, 1937 in Blandon, Pennsylvania to his parents Paul Davis and Pauline (Wesner) Davis.
He was a former Principal and Teacher who had taught in the public-school system in Pennsylvania. Ron and his loving wife Sara moved to Leesburg 10 years ago from Reading, Pennsylvania. He was of the Christian faith. Ron was a member of the Grange Association. Ron enjoyed gardening, hunting when he was able and traveling as well as being surrounded by his loving family and his dog “Bandit”.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years: Sara Davis of Leesburg, FL; two sons: Randy Davis and his wife Emmy of Womelsdorf, PA, Jeffrey Evans and his wife Perri of Lady Lake, FL; two daughters: Trisha Walksler of Maggie Valley, NC and Suzanne Robertson and her husband Michael of Groveland, FL; a sister: Linda Delp of Kutztown, PA; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two nieces and one nephew. Ron was preceded in death by his beloved parents.
The family will be having a private celebration of Ron’s life at a later date. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in Ron’s loving memory.
