A woman tasered last week at a Leesburg restaurant was arrested again shortly after she bonded out of jail.
Sharon Rose Anderson, 42, of Tavares, was arrested this past Thursday night after she drove her golf cart to the Chipotle restaurant on U.S. Hwy. 441 Leesburg. She had an open beer in the golf cart and struck a law enforcement vehicle as she tried to drive away. She was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. She bonded out of the Lake County Jail at about 2 p.m. Friday.
Anderson was re-arrested shortly before 8 p.m. Friday at her home on Margaret Drive in Tavares on a charge of child abuse. Anderson got into a physical altercation with a juvenile who had a ”busted lip, bruising to her right shoulder and also on her left arm,” according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. This time, she was booked at the jail on $14,000 bond.
