A man was arrested after allegedly giving a false name to police officers during a trespassing investigation.
Christopher Emery, 34 of Leesburg, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of providing a false name to a law enforcement officer.

Police had responded to the Squirt the Dirt carwash on County Road 473 due to a report of a “suspicious person,” according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Police initially believed Emery had previously been barred from returning to the business. It turned out it was his brother who had been trespassed. Emery had initially provided police with his brother’s name.
He is facing a third degree felony charge. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $7,000 bond.
