Carmen Moody Mock

Carmen Moody Mock passed away peacefully on May 20, 2021 in Leesburg, FL at the age of 77.

She was born on June 21, 1943, at the community of Watts Bar Dam, TN. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She resided in Seminole, FL for 44 years before moving to Yalaha, FL in 2010. Her passion was Bible Study. She was a member and leader of the Seminole Women’s Bible Study at Keene Terrace Baptist Church in Largo and later at Seminole Baptist Church in Seminole, FL. She continued leading a women’s Bible study at the First Baptist Church of Coleman, FL after moving to central Florida. Her other passion was being a mother and grandmother and homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and hostess and loved entertaining family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, C.W. “Bill” Mock, her two sons, Nathan Mock of Seminole, FL and Andrew Mock of Coleman, FL, her two brothers Mendel Moody of Seminole and Ken Moody of Kingston Springs, TN. She had five grandsons – Christian Mock, Billy Mock, Ryan Mock, Nathan Eric Mock, and Adam Mock and one granddaughter, Samantha Grace Mock.
