John Roy Collier, 77, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
Born in Normal, Illinois, he moved to Leesburg in 1969 from Illinois. He was an Engineer with Sprint Telephone Company prior to his retirement. John was a member of the BPOE and was highly active with Eustis Elks Lodge #1578. John was of protestant faith and he enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his Wife, Joyce Collier of Leesburg, FL; Sons, Keith Collier of Leavenworth, KS, Darrell Collier of Grand Island, FL, John Edwards of Eustis, FL, Stephen Collier of Umatilla, FL; Daughters, Michelle Colliers of Shoshoni, WY, Jodie Edwards of Leesburg, FL; Brother, Tom Collier of Greeley, CO; Sister, Alice Fry of Eustis, FL; 17 Grandchildren, David, Lilly, Sandy, Michael, Alex, Cody, Clayton, Mary, Justin, Stephanie, Baleigh, Joey Jake, Savannah, Austin, Lily and Harley; 14 Great-Grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends prior from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made in John’s name to Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services (https://floridaelks.org/donate) or to Cornerstone Hospice (https://cornerstonehospice.org/).
