Clayton Cameron Sopotnick

Clayton Cameron Sopotnick (age 39) went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Clayton was born on Friday, January 1, 1982, in Leesburg, FL. He attended Leesburg High School and was employed as an electrician at Country Pure Foods in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL.

Clayton had a kind heart and lived life to the fullest as anyone who knew him would agree. He had a special passion for fishing and loved to be on the ocean in his boat, The Sea Slug. It gave him peace. Clayton accepted the Lord and kept a Bible in his truck for times of need. Clayton was loved by all who knew him.

Clayton is survived by his father, David, his mother, Gale, his brothers, Eric, Chris and Danny, his grandparents, Marvin and Margie Pickett, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

There will be a visitation and memorial service at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel 1123 W. Main St. in Leesburg, FL on Saturday, April 3. The visitation will begin at 10:30 AM and the service will start at 11:00 AM.
