Arthur L. Padgett, SR, 81, of Leesburg passed away December 21, 2020. He was born October 6, 1939 in Leesburg to JH and Daisy Lois Padgett. Mr. Padgett was a lifelong resident of Leesburg with the exception of his 21 year Navy career. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Assoc. of the US Navy and the First Baptist Church of Center Hill. He enjoyed fishing and wood-working and could often be found on his tractor.
Survivors include: his beloved wife of 58 years Patricia; 2 daughters: Beverly (Paul) Hughes of Groveland and Rhonda (Steve) Policastro of Wildwood; brother, Bobby Padgett of Fruitland Park; 3 grandchildren: Rachael Ann Morrison, Zachary Hughes and Joe Padgett. He was preceded in death by a son Arthur, Jr as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister.

A private Graveside Service and interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Florida.
